Pastor Geoffrey has been an activist for educating Ugandan orphans in the Bundibugyo District for many years. In January 2012, he establised a holistic nursery and primary school called Winner School. He's fought for the orphans right to a high quality education and fought for books. Bundibugyo is often overlooked.
Missionary COGIC Outreach is committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through meeting the needs of orphaned children. We are committed to feeding, clothing, and educating the orphans of Uganda.
We minister to the whole person in mind, body, and spirit. Most importantly, we empower and enable them to care and support themselves mentally, physically, and spiritually.
The vision of Missionary COGIC Outreach is for all orphans of Uganda to rise up out of poverty. It’s to build people of faith and integrity, a people dedicated to prayer, praise, purpose, and power for Godly living. Most importantly, our vision is to be a light and witness to the lost and the hurting–all to the Glory of God.
Hi everyone there, greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My name is pastor Tumwesige Benard, husband but of one wife and a father of three children (all boys). I am the founder and director of Voice of Hope Outreach Ministries - Uganda and Senior pastor at Bubukwanga Voice of Hope Christian Church. I want to express my thanks towards Missionary COGIC Outreach, a nonprofit organization based in the USA with a heartbeat to help Ugandan orphans. What a blessing when God tugs on your heart to help orphans? Uganda is one of the countries which has faced disasters and wars and one of the impoverished nations especially in Rural areas like the Bundinbugyo district in western Uganda. In 1996, ADF Rebels raged war against the government where millions of homes were displaced in camps, thousands of innocent people killed. In 2010, there was an outbreak of Ebola in the land of Bundibugyo which left many people died including health workers themselves. In 2016, there was tribal conflict between the Bamba-Babwis and Bankonjo where many were displaced and killed. In addition to the above, diseases like HIV/AIDS and SICKLE CELL has finished many people. According to the WHO research its said that Bundibugyo is the most leading area with people living with Sickle cell. Now, when you look at all the above, you will understand the problem of why many children have lost their parents which has caused them to live under difficult circumstances. They hardly get foods that have led many to become weak and thin, they are not going to school and this has made many street kids, they are moving nakedly and barefooted and also die at a premature stage for no good care is given them, why? Many of their guardians cannot afford the necessities of life. How can they take care of children yet they can't look after their real children? Therefore, we have high hope that Missionary COGIC Outreach will be the solution of these orphans since their heartbeat is to help Feed, Clothe and Educate them. The founder of this nonprofit organization, Rena Smith, whom I have known almost a year now, being confident of her experience and her desire and call, will be able to fundraise for the needs of these orphans and every $ will bring a smile on their faces. Rena has been a blessing to my family and a very strong woman who has encouraged me and prayed for my ministry. May the Lord bless you, Rena. We pray God opens the floodgates of heavens and touches hearts to be part of this great vision. Together we can. Pastor Tumwesige Benard - Uganda.
Rev Rena, I thank you so much for the open heart you have displayed in this vision.
Writing a vision and making it plain To any herald, is so biblical as stated in Habbakuk 2:2
As a Bishop I believe this is one of the accredited responsibilities Jesus left To us while he told Peter To feed the Lambs. ( physical and spiritual children always need To be fed)
Both physical and spiritual food is a necessity To the body soul and spirit.
Stepping up out of many is bring hope To our ministries here in Uganda and whoever will join you in this noble Godly cause, that person and his life will never ever be the same.
I believe many now are finding it possible To trust you the more because it's no longer a hidden ministry but open To all To come in and support.
It's also an answer To those who may have thought the vision was not real.
Its fruits are going To be displayed here time To time.
Job says that I was a father To the fatherless and I made the widows heart To sing for joy. He says I helped out the poor that had none To help.
And exactly this is what you have stepped in To do with us here in Uganda East Africa.
As THRONE OF GRACE CHURCH INTERNATIONAL, p. O.Box 1237. Bundibugyo 256 Uganda.
We are praying every day for you and those who are coming in join and support financially or in materials for needy and orphaned children and needy youth and elderly needy.
Thanks so much know every day that you are an answer To our many years prayers.
Grace and peace
Bishop L G Bob
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world.

In December 2019, Bundibugyo Uganda had horrific landslides that killed over 200 residents of this very rural district. Roads leading in and out of the community were flooded with debris and mud. People were lost and scared. The residents were urged to relocate, however, they would not leave their homes.
The damage was even more devastating than it appeared. Nearly all of the water pipes that lead to the houses and schools were wiped out or destroyed. There was no way of obtaining fresh water now.
The children now must walk a long distance to the river. This is their everyday routine to collect this dirty, disease-ridden muddy river water. The water must be boiled to be drinkable, but, even then many still get sick. The destroyed pipes need to be replaced from the water source to the schools. You could be the one that gives these children clean, drinkable water.
Kisiri spent his career in the military. After he got out, he met Rejina and fell in love. They married and had a family of six children. Then, Kisiri became very ill as well as one of the children. He found out he was stricken with HIV/AIDS. They all tested positive. This was their one-room home, in the bush. There was no access to clean water, no food, and no toilet.
They were all sleeping in this same bed. Kisiri and one of the small sons were found very ill and resting in the bed.
This family had lost all hope. Missionary COGIC Outreach was able to find, fund, and empower this family in need.
Brenda, in the red, is the oldest child at 17 years old and is the least sick. Brenda has been empowered. She came to stay at Winner School and is doing very well. She wants to become a nurse. It is planned to empower Rejina with a small business, so she can help provide for the family. The challenge right now is obtaining a small piece of land, so that a small house can be built for them. This family is well on their way to living a normal life. Sponsors are needed for the other four school-aged children.
Ronald lives in this dilapidated house with bushes for the door. He lives with his "lunatic" father, as he is called. He also has two sisters. Their mother disappeared due to "sickness of the father."
Ronald goes shopping for new clothes and shoes. This was the first time that Ronald ever had shoes on his feet.
Ronald is a brilliant boy and it is his dream to be an electrical engineer when he grows up. He was second in his class.
Hunger is all over the world, but, I am reaching out to you right here, right now! Help us to feed these hungry children and elderly. Help us to send used clothing to people who would be so grateful just to have clothes without holes, coats, and shoes. Help us educate these children, not only academically and spiritually, but also, life skills and trades to be productive citizens. Help us today.
Please consider becoming a partner with your monthly pledge of $25.00 or more. You will receive emails of the children and letters from them. So you can see for yourselves how your gift is helping these special children.
Introducing Missionary COGIC Outreach, a non-profit organization that feeds, clothes, and educates the orphans of Uganda. These children have no parents due to war, HIV aids, or climate change. Family turned them away as they can barely feed themselves. They’ve turned to the churches. Now the churches are turning to you to help them feed, clothe, and educate these children.
Be a hero to a child or a few children. There is no other feeling in the world than helping another person, especially a child.
